Krugerrand 1 oz Silver 2024

Description

The 2024 Silver Krugerrands are struck by the South African mint Rand Refinery from pure Ag.999 bullion, weighing one ounce and measuring 38.7mm in diameter. Each coin in the series is a fully fledged means of payment, guaranteed by the South African government as to the legality, purity of the bullion and the origin of the metal. It is interesting to note that although Krugerrands are full legal tender, they do not have a face value. This means that the South African Reserve Bank is obliged to repurchase the coins at the prevailing bullion price.

The Krugerrand investment coins are an excellent investment of any capital. Due to their liquidity, both when wishing to buy and sell, they are recommended to all investors.


The obverse is decorated with a portrait of the President, Paul Kruger, with the words “SUID-AFRICA” AND “SOUTH AFRICA” above it.


Rewers depict a springbok antelope, which is the symbol of South Africa. On either side of it are numbers representing the year of minting, with the words ‘Fynsilwer 1oz fine silver r1’ below, indicating the pure silver content.
